HOSPITALIZATION

A ground ambulance is already ready in position to receive the incoming aircraft and take the patient to the major medical facility, admission into which is booked by India Aeromedical Services in the early stages of evacuation procedure. India Aeromedical Services also works on advance payments to hospitals, consultants and all major diagnostic procedures.

The duties of the flying doctors definitely do not end at the instant the patient is handed over to the designated hospital. The doctors continue to monitor the patient's progress and prognosis and convey this information to the patient's family, company or insurance company(as need be) until the patient finally reaches back home.
